Regarding Wasabi

I usually get lunch delivered a few times a week so that my Worker Bee self can sit at my desk and toil away.

I can’t tell if this is a really smart thing, or a really dumb thing I do.

Anyhoo.

Today I got sushi, and every time I’m about to put wasabi in my soy sauce and mix it all up like only those who wish to sully the good name of sushi do, I think of my friend Brandon in Seattle, the sushi chef. He brings his absolutely beautiful artistic creations to you with the requisite wasabi and ginger, but sweetly advises you that it’s unnecessary to add these things, and should you wish to do so anyway, he’ll be watching you and judging you from right over there.

And I always smile to myself and think “HA! Can’t see me now, can ya BRANDON???” as I defile my sushi with this “unnecessary” concoction of sinus-clearing awesomeness.
